We measure up, advise on the right pile and underlay for the room, and fit to a standard that lasts. Stairs, landings, bay windows and awkward thresholds are all part of a normal day for us. Old flooring is lifted and taken away, doors are eased where needed, and gripper and underlay are always replaced rather than reused.

LVT rewards good preparation more than any other floor covering, so we screed and prime before a single plank goes down. Whether it is a click system in a rental or a fully bonded herringbone in a hallway, we set out the pattern from the centre so cuts fall evenly at the walls.

Safety flooring has to meet a specification, not just look tidy. We fit to the required slip rating, hot-weld the seams and form coved skirtings so there is nowhere for water or dirt to sit. Work can be scheduled out of hours to keep your site running.

Subfloor preparation in Shropshire

Plywood overlay, latex screeding and damp-proof membranes — the groundwork that makes a new floor sit right.

Most flooring complaints come from what is underneath. We ply over springy boards, screed out dips and hollows, prime dusty concrete and lay membranes where damp is a risk. If a floor is not fit to cover, we will tell you before you spend money on the covering.
